What Font Is On The Back Of Softball Shirts

Do good!

depth to our understanding the Christian life, the desire, the need or the demand is bound to do good.

Jesus has shown us so we finally have

"... how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil because God was with him. "
(Acts 10:38)

So they are busy doing good, depending on his talent and character in different fields:
Gemeindarbeit, health and aged care, mission, youth services, coaching and support projects of all kinds are here, probably the favorites, but there are countless opportunities to perceive the needs of individuals and help to forces where there is need. That's great, absolutely necessary and commendable!

Quite unconsciously, we use a scale of - someone who selflessly helps the starving children in Africa does, of course, much more good than the Kassierein at Aldi, which helps after work just out of Grandma on the road - and schwuppsdiwupps we have a Hierarchy from "doing good" in the minds and thus, the goodness of people.

Whoever does good is good, who does a lot of good is better.

Now Paul says quite another, appealing to a human problem that we all know well:

For the good that I want, I exercise, but rather the evil I do not want this I do.
(Rom 7:19)

This is however not the bankruptcy of Paul, just before he has given up trying to do good, but he speaks like that "in the flesh" anyway, nothing good lives and it constantly rebelled against the good will. In fact, the good that has us how Jesus, and even miles away from the remote, imagine what we are doing good to us in the situation.

this difference is miles - - The point that we would be well on their own wish, while the top of Jesus is that He did in the power of the Holy Spirit is good or better "worlds apart"!

Jesus said unto him, What do you call me good? No one is good but One God.
(Mar 10:18)

If Jesus himself did nothing on its own, even on its own was good, and clearly rejects any hype about his being good, then it is not pretty presumptuous of us, when we ourselves want to be good and even more pride in how well we were wiedermal?
What is it then Christian, in the sense of following Jesus?
Is this not rather arrogant of religious garb?

God alone the honor and goes like this:

So now, as we have opportunity, let us work good to all, but mostly against the household of faith.

(Gal 6:10)

Luther translated here: "Therefore, while we still have time ..."
So go - quickly, hurry to do good, there's no tomorrow - right?

The key lies hidden in the word that is here translated as "opportunity":

It is the Greek word kairos καιρος =!

The divine moment, the God-knit opportunity, the prepared way of the Father!

you know that when you feel suddenly as a "tingle" and you know it, now is the time to stand up and to go to say something or do what you have not planned, but now absolutely "turn" is ?

you get it on his heart, and there it is on fire!

This is the opportunity that God has for you prepare good thing to do! You can the whole atmosphere - and even change lives -

do good as God wants to do it through us, always means that people are freed from the power of the devil, towards the divine light!

The grandmother recognizes suddenly the overwhelming love of God in the eyes of the woman from the Aldi box office and they speak a few words with each other and the Holy Spirit has her heart touched - which had just been darkness and sorrow, now God has returned light!

In another "opportunity," says the father through you a few words of life villt, but the seed is sown, one set of people to the knowledge of truth of Christ can penetrate and change his life completely!
Or you get a revelation about what the real problem of a brother or sister, although a long time "are in the faith", but not in the faith going - it's missing the awaited "breakthrough" - meaning it and the ban could be broken!

Something like plan or we can not achieve through their own efforts, not by happy permanent grin, or by helping all over the road, the villt. do not over do ...
except the Spirit of God leads us there so we do not miss the opportunities that our father from the kairos - the divine dimension - for has arranged for us.

The more we exercise it the more God can use us. But do not worry about missteps or merely from setbacks!

We are not doing good until we get tired, but we should not get tired, so we can actually do good: Let

us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not .

(Gal 6:9)

Yes exactly that in his time!
(You got it - here is kairos again!)

Only God is good!
