In Creation account in 1.Mose 1 we read that man was created as man and wife. They should work together to preserve the rule of creation. Only in the second chapter we learn the details.
We learn among other things, that was "the man" formed out of earth and God breathed life. The tasks and bids fare but not to either the man or woman, but "the people".

And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat: but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat, for in the Day that you eat of it you shall surely die.

So what is the ultimate truth?
Yeah, Jesus himself it is! And that says something very important:

The truth is alive!

That does not mean that they are today and tomorrow would be different - because Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever - but truth we encounter every day new and different! And the most exciting thing is, otherwise you would be actually on the safe side, if one were to learn the Bible by heart (or at least it has always under his arm).
