In the sold-out exhibition hall in Nuremberg 4,000 participants experienced three thrilling and challenging Days on the " Shift - Welcome to the next level . This conference was a highlight for our team which we prepared months, have planned and organized. Together with my colleague Keith Cote Chicago-I for planning and Durchfürhung of Bühnenprogamms was responsible .
Across the denominations and the borders of Germany met the people in the heart of Bavaria. The common goal, despite all the differences between young people today to win for Jesus and live a life that is between the cultural and social challenges as a role model for young people.
The Old Testament story of his inauguration at just 12 years old King Josiah Darren Whitehead made it clear that God calls especially young people to accomplish great deeds in his name. God wants us out of shape man, Whitehead, which he can send as "arrows" in the world, to achieve its goals. Plays for G not ott age, but a soft heart a role that is open to God and his speeches.
"community is not for you there, it is beyond our church walls," said the Australian Phil Dooley to the congress participants. Just one year ago that he and his wife in Cape Town, South Africa, has established a Hillsong community that places great emphasis on practice to serve the poor. This commitment as a visible sign of God's love was most important and Dooley's passion put forward message. In a second session highlighted the power of the preacher worship God out in the lives of Christians.
Each session was motivated by the German- American band to worship leader Matt Lundgren, worship in times embedded. Music at a high level and with the focus on God's greatness, these times of particularly intense encounters with God. Partying, dancing and worship with thousands of other Christians - a little taste of heaven!
The message of Torsten lever was clear: "We must stop talking in churches only. It is time that we DO something! ". Tony heads the social project "Blubox" in Berlin and he was at heart to put his audience on the move: to get involved for the people who practically live out the love of God and to get as heaven on earth.
As a special treat for the "SHIFTler" was the Christian mega-band "Delirious" After 15 years of Germany of her last concerts. More than 6,000 fans, the musicians played for frontman Martin Smith, a colorful mix of old and new songs. "History Maker" and "What a friend I've found" it was just as songs from her current album. Thrilled with the fans singing every word and celebrating the pioneer in Worship left out into the night.
What really caught me was the band of teenagers Awake Church - the youth of my community. They led a session with two songs in the praise and really rocked!
While of the conference, my brother Daniel with the speakers Torsten lever, Darren Whitehead, Phil Dooley and Bo Boshers for Willow Youth pod interesting conversations that subscribe to everyone for free as a podcast or download can load. Delirious we could even win an interview! Information at www.youthpod.de.
